THE LIGHT WITHIN

On June 21st, the Summer Solstice arrives—a turning point when the sun shines at its highest and longest, illuminating everything in its path. It can be a day of expansion, radiance, and clarity. In many traditions, this time is considered sacred: a portal into abundance, growth, and awakening.

At Oak Tree Energetics, we believe the outer light reveals the inner landscape. Just as the sun floods the earth with brilliance, we are invited to turn inward and see what’s ready to be acknowledged, celebrated, and released.

This is a time to ask some powerful questions:

  • Where am I being invited to shine more brightly?

  • What parts of me are still hiding in the shadows, afraid of their brilliance?

  • What old stories, patterns, or energies need to be cleared to allow my full light to come through?

This season holds a kind of electric charge, a heightened sensitivity to energy and truth. I often work with stones like citrine or quartz during this time, and flower remedies that support courage and embodiment. These allies can help recalibrate the nervous system, dissolve old energetic residue, and anchor us more fully in our purpose.

Try this simple Solstice practice:
Step outside at sunrise or sunset on June 21st. Place your hands over your heart. Breathe slowly, imagining the sun filling your chest with light. Whisper:

I welcome my own light. I release what dims it. I am ready.

Let the warmth of the season remind you of your inherent brilliance. And remember: the sun doesn’t question its glow. Neither should you.
